I ride a motorcycle, walk about 5 miles and am on my feet working 8 hours a day. These boots fit from the moment I put them on and have gotten even more comfortable in the 2 weeks I've worn them. They're made in China :( . The leather is thick, seems tough, and has a slightly greasy finish. They have an insulated lining. The burlap infused rubber sole/heel is a soft compound and doesn't seem like it will wear well, though it is comfortable. They have good traction on wet/oily surfaces. The harness and straps are extraneous and purely decorative. I have not needed to open the side zipper to get the boots on and off so this zipper seems extraneous as well.
True to size in length and width, good stitching and overall construction. Wish I'd known country of origin and lining thickness.
